MAZDA BT-50 LIFT KIT

The Mazda BT50 lift kit is a 4x4 that’s already known for providing an incredible driving experience – one that’s comfortable, roomy and great in terms of fuel economy; regardless of whether you’re on the street or completely off-road.

That said, the BT50 isn’t a perfect 4x4. What is a perfect 4x4 is a BT50 with a suspension upgrade from Supashock. Our suspension kits offer unprecedented levels of control over your driving experience with a reliable and versatile build.

A Mazda BT50 suspension upgrade means you get a system that was designed and tested in Australia for all Australian terrains. Your BT50 will be ready for anything.

The Supashock 4x4 dampers operate unlike any other product on the market, and feature world leading technology that provides the owner with off-road capability not available anywhere else.

The Supashock system is designed, manufactured, assembled and tested in Australia, for Australian conditions. The 4x4 dampers are derived from the same technologies Supashock have developed for high-performance applications such as V8 Supercars, the factory fitted suspension of the legendary HSV GTS-R W1, the suspension upgrade on the HSV Colorado SportsCat and aftermarket options for numerous military vehicles.

Supashock dampers are specifically tuned for individual vehicle models by experienced chassis tuning engineers to provide superior comfort and performance in all driving conditions. The proprietary piston and valve design inside Supashock dampers has been developed to offer high force response and wheel control for maximum tyre grip in motorsport applications. Applying this technology to the Supashock 4x4 range provides Supashock equipped vehicles with unrivalled handling and braking performance, without compromise of ride quality.

FEATURES

WHY SUPASHOCK 4X4?

Australian Made - Designed, tested, manufactured and assembled in Australia.
Technology - The same technology used in Motorsport, Mining and Defence.
Materials - Manufactured from aerospace alloys.
Durability - Superior strength,  maximising service life.

Supashock 4x4 shock absorbers feature an inverted-strut design developed originally for motorsport and mining applications. The main shaft has a huge 64mm diameter which offers extremely high strength and resistance to bending during large impacts or rock strikes.

A key feature of each 4x4 damper is Supashock’s patented Shell Reservoir System, which consists of a floating piston that separates the pressurised gas and oil inside the shock absorber. The large-diameter main shaft allows a high oil volume without the need for an external reservoir, providing the performance of a monotube damper with the packaging benefits of a twin-tube design.

This large oil volume combined with a billet aluminium damper piston make Supashock 4x4 dampers extremely thermally efficient. This results in consistent performance during extended use on rough roads or when tackling those dreaded corrugations. This lowers the likelihood of shock fade meaning the driver maintains handling response and therefore - safety.

Unique Progressive-Digressive Damper Curve

Supashock’s unique progressive-to-digressive damping curve offers significant benefits by transitioning from progressive damping in soft settings to digressive damping in stiffer settings.

Enhanced Comfort in Soft Settings

Progressive damping provides smoother resistance at lower speeds, effectively absorbing small bumps and irregularities, ensuring a comfortable ride when you want it.

Improved Performance and Control in Stiff Settings

Digressive damping at higher stiffness settings delivers strong force at low shaft speeds, enhancing control for body roll, braking, and cornering. The damping force plateaus, preventing excessive harshness and allowing quick suspension reactions.

Ride Height Adjustment

Supashock Street & Track Coilovers feature fully-threaded damper bodies.

This allows you to adjust your overall damper length via the strut foot, and adjust your ride height via the spring perch.

Adjusting the spring perch alters the pre-load on the spring, however does not alter the spring rate which is determined by the design of the spring itself.

Monotube Damper Design

Supashock's advanced monotube damper gives you damping technology derived from nearly two-decades of V8 Supercars development.

Monotube damping separates the damper oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas. If the two were able to mix (as they do in twin-tube dampers), the gas will cavitate within the oil causing 'damper fade,' severely impacting performance.

For ultimate performance, choose Supashock's Inverted Monotube damper option (pictured), available on selected vehicle models.

The inverted strut increases the rigidity of the unit, giving greater stength and performance.
